Shabbat 5/5/2018

Shabbat Shalom! We had such an awesome service last week with several Israeli worshippers joining with us! The presence of The Lord was powerful and there was absolutely no need for translation! We love those special times, and it makes us hunger and thirst for more of HIM. This Shabbat, May 5th, we will be continuing our series on Romans, and will begin to look at chapter 12, how we are to BE LIVING SACRIFICES! Come with an expectation of meeting with the living God, not because it’s the “right” thing to do, or expected because, after all it’s Shabbat, but come because you love God and you love the Kehilat. We will have a potluck Oneg following the service, so please bring a dish to share and enjoy the fellowship! This Sunday, May 6th, beginning at 6pm we are privileged to pray as part of the Wall of Prayer 1Church Initiative in the Rocky Mountain region of Colorado. It is a 24 hour time of praying for and releasing blessing into the churches and congregations in the area so that God’s purposes would burst forth here. Some of you have already signed up for hour-long slots, so that the whole day will be covered, but there is still opportunity to sign up this Shabbat!
On Shabbat, May 19th, we will be welcoming Rabbi Bill Bullock of Regions Christian Center in Texas, who will be with us all day. It is Shavuot, and he will bring his powerful and unique teaching about this special day, in a way that invites intimacy with The Holy One. Invite your family and friends for this wonderful day! Of course, we will have a potluck Oneg following the morning service, so we want to encourage everyone to bring a little extra food as we are expecting quite a few visitors. After our meal, we will meet back in the sanctuary for his afternoon session. Look forward to seeing you all there! On Sunday, May 20th, we will celebrate Shavuot as a community with several congregations together at Central Park in the Stapleton neighborhood of Denver. This celebration is from 10am -4pm, and is sponsored by the Harvest Messianic Congregation. All are welcome!
In the words of Shaul the Apostle, “NOW TO HIM WHO IS ABLE TO DO FAR BEYOND ALL THAT WE ASK OR IMAGINE … TO HIM BE THE GLORY IN THE COMMUNITY OF BELIEVERS AND IN MESSIAH YESHUA THROUGHOUT ALL GENERATIONS FOREVER AND EVER!"

Blessings and Shabbat Shalom!
