September 1 starts the month of Elul this year leading up to the Feasts. It’s a time we reflect and open our hearts to God as we let Him search us and as we respond back to Him in humility and obedience. We sense the Lord calling Or Chaim to a 28 day fast beginning sundown Sept 1 and ending EREV Yom Teruah. We desire each person be led by the RUACH Ha Kodesh on what and how much to fast.
