Shabbat May 3, 2025

Shalom Mishpacha!

Can you believe it is May already? It MAY be that we are leaving the winter months and can expect rain and even some more sunny days, MAYbe? Alright, enough of the silly puns but the year is moving very fast, and the pace of our lives is also moving fast. However, Shabbat is coming, so it’s time to slow down, catch a breath and look forward to a Shabbat Shalom with Him! This has been an exciting and meaningful week as many of us gathered last Sunday at Babi Bar Park to remember 6 million Jewish souls who perished in the Holocaust. On Tuesday, many of us gathered at the State Capitol to pray, worship, dance and make declarations about God’s Lordship over Colorado, and proclaiming righteousness and justice will return to the government of this State! Many of you wrote letters to your representatives and to the governor, expressing your concern for the incursion off the state into our families and our children’s lives. Thank you so much for responding to this urgent call!

We will be gathering this Shabbat May 3rd to worship and celebrate the Lord of the Sabbath, Yeshua, at The Dwelling Place! We meet at 11am and our address is 16800 W. 9th Ave. Golden, 80401. Developing a fear of the Lord has been our pursuit over the past months, and experiencing and practicing HIS PRESENCE is the key to walking in Shalom and overcoming every fear we can experience! My message this week is FEAR THAT ELIMINATES ALL OTHER FEAR! The Lord is certainly calling His bride to come up to a higher place of consecration and holiness, and this message will give us some practical ways to walk in these crazy days. We will have a potluck Oneg following the service, SO BRING A DISH TO SHARE AND STAY FOR FELLOWSHIP!

A reminder that this next Tuesday May 6th, we have been invited to join with the Jewish community for an important event: WE WON’T BE SILENT, an event sponsored by Stories of Anti-Semitism that will be held at DCSD Legacy Campus, 10035 Peoria St. Lone Tree at 6:30pm. Since the horrific attack by Hamas on October 7th and the ugly Jew hatred that we have seen erupt all over our nation, it is important to show the Jewish community that we stand with them! All are invited to this event, so let us show our support for the community and come out!

Many of you have asked how you can donate to Or Chaim:You can give online at:https://www.or-chaim.com
