Shabbat 9/1/2018

Shabbat Shalom!

Can you believe its the end of end of summer already? In a few weeks we are going to be in my favorite time of the year. I love the Fall season with the leaves changing color, the cool and sunny days getting shorter, and especially the approach of the Appointed Times as we are reminded to re-gather and prepare for the soon return of the King! Or Chaim will be celebrating the  Fall festivals of The Lord beginning with: Erev Yom Teruah (Rosh HaShana), Sunday September 9th@7pm, at our Congregation on the Mountain. On Tuesday September September 18th@7pm we will be observing Erev Yom Kippur with our Kol Nidre service, also on the Mountain. The following evening, Wednesday September 19th@5:30pm we will celebrate the Break Fast at the Larson’s home, 117 S. Rogers way, Golden 80401. On Sunday September 23rd@4:30pm we will celebrate Erev Succoth at Patricia DeLeon’s home, 10578 Ouray St. Commerce City 80022. These are special gatherings that all are encouraged to attend! The Yom Kippur Break Fast and our Succoth gatherings will be potlucks, so bring a dish to share for these special occasions! Remember to put these dates in your calendar.

This Shabbat, September 1st, I will be sharing a very important message on one of my favorite subjects, May Your Kingdom Come! This will be part 1 of 2 parts where we want to lay out our role in fulfilling His commission to us. We will be looking at Daniels prophesy about the end days, and how it is being played out in real time today, and how we are to stand in Spiritual warfare! I am excited about this message!

THERE WILL BE A POTLUCK ONEG FOLLOWING THE SERVICE, SO BRING A DISH TO SHARE, AND ENJOY THE FELLOWSHIP.

Don’t know about you, but I can’t wait for Shabbat and I hope to see you there!

Blessings and Shabbat Shalom!
