Shabbats and Events for December 2022

Shalom!

And a happy December to you all! Millie and I are enjoying a time away with family and friends, and some personal refreshing and renewal but we will be sending out weekly updates while we are gone. This Shabbat December 3rd, The Dwelling Place is not available but Or Chaim Congregation will be meeting at two locations in the area! With the way things are in the world these days, this may become the model of our meetings in the not too distant future! There will be a gathering at the home of David and Laura Aronstein, 7220 Box Canyon Rd. Sedalia, 80135. Also, there will be a meeting at the home of Russ and Siri Crider, 22493 Maplewood Ln. Aurora, 80015. Both of these gatherings will begin at 11amand there will be fellowship and food after the services. So, please bring a dish too share and enjoy Shabbat together! Join together at one of these locations for sharing of the Word, worship and lively Midrash and great fellowship!

On Shabbat December 10th, there will be gatherings at The Dwelling Place,16800 W. 9th Ave. Golden, 80401 and at the Crider’s, again beginning at 11am. Also, that afternoon (December 10th), we will be participating in an outreach/festival with a Russian church in Wheat Ridge at 3pm! All are invited to attend and it will be a lot of fun! The address for the church is 10555 W. 44th Ave. Wheat Ridge 80033. There will be dancing, food and an opportunity to bring a Messianic Jewish testimony to our brothers and sisters!

Hanukkah is coming on December 18th! This is the 8 day “Festival of Dedication” that Yeshua celebrated in John 10, to commemorate the Maccabees defeat of the Greek-Syrian oppressors who desecrated the Temple in the second century B.C. Here are some events that will be taking place (we will let you know of others, as we hear of them):

- Sunday the 18th, light the first candle of Hanukkah at Roeh Israel Congregation! They will start at 5pm with a potluck followed by a short liturgy, dancing and worship! The address is 8556 E. Warren Ave. Denver 80231. Lets join together in unity with our Messianic family! The last time we did this it was a blast!

- Hanukkah Outreach/Caroling in Greenwood Village Monday, December 19th! Meet at Rez Anglican Fellowship, 9250 E. Belleview Ave at 6pm. There will be a lot of treats and fellowship and they still need guitar players! Great fun going house to house blessing the community and being lights in a dark world!

- Tuesday December 20thHanukkah party at the Crider’s! It will begin at 6pm and they will have fondue, dancing and a whole lot fun! Again, their address is 22493 Maplewood Ln. Aurora, 80015. Please RSVP at (303)859-1250 and bring fresh veggies or a fruit platter!
