Shabbat 1/13/2024 Mazel Tov David and Hilary Cohen!

Shabbat Shalom!

Well here we are in the dark and frigid days of January, which, if I was to ask for a show of hands, no one would raise their hands as their favorite time of year! But in our hearts, we are staying warm by being in His presence, and we are being strengthened by His joy! As I have been sharing over the past weeks, this year will be very active, both in the natural flow of things but also in the spiritual realm. The other day as I was at the State Capitol praying for the beginning of the legislative session, pro-Hamas demonstrators took over the House gallery with their vile chants and screams. It seems that evil has become the norm in the name of “free speech”, but we as people of faith need to be declaring righteousness and kingdom justice wherever we go! The famous statement from Edmund Burke is so relevant today, “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing”. We as the KAHAL (called out assembly), have to be aware of what is taking place, and at the same time not become full of hate and negate the message we are wanting to proclaim. Walking in the love of Yeshua and at the same time being bold in walking in a kingdom lifestyle in the midst of darkness!

This will be a very special Shabbat at Or Chaim! After our Torah service we are all invited to participate in the wedding of Hilary Mikoll and David Cohen! It will be a joyous occasion and following the ceremony, we will have a special reception in the fellowship room. Our address is 16800 W.9th Ave Golden, 80401 and we will begin our Torah service at 11am. Their story is so encouraging and they have become a wonderful part of our ‘Mishpacha’ during the last several months!

This coming Wednesday evening January 17th we will have a night of prayer for Israel at the Aronstein’. Their address is 7220 Box Canyon Rd. Sedalia 80135 and we will begin at about 6pm. All are invited to this special evening of prayer, as we want to see God’s purposes fulfilled for His land and His people! Also, next Sunday January 21st the men will be having their fellowship/breakfast at 10am, and we will send out the details of where that will take place.

The Lord has put it on my heart over the last few weeks to make a short trip to Israel to connect with our ministry partners, observe what is happening in the land, and to pray with soldiers and our Messianic brothers and sisters in the land. I will be leaving on Monday January 22nd and returning on February 2nd. God has put it on my heart to be a blessing and help with some of the enormous needs that the people are facing. When we lived in Israel, Millie and I worked with Avi, who has led Dugit Ministries for over 30 years. He leads a local Messianic Congregation, a distribution center and an outreach center in the heart of Tel Aviv. I asked him what are specific needs that have arisen because of the war, and I was taken aback by how great they are, especially for the Messianic believers in the land!

— Dugit runs a distribution center which in normal times serves about 50 families /week with basic food, clothing and household items. Since October 7th, they are serving over 200 families/week! The government provides very minimal help to families and many of the believers are already living in poverty.
— When the war started, The Israeli government was caught by surprise. Immediately they called up 350,000 reservists into the armed forces! They did not have enough clothing, such as socks, underwear and jackets for everyone called up. They were even short on some basic military items such as armored vests and “ballistic glasses” that could not be shattered! Dugit Ministries is doing what it can to bring these basic necessities to the soldiers, but it has put quite a financial strain oil them.
— When war broke out, many Israelis who were living close to Gaza had to be relocated away from the war zone. Many of them were brought to the Tel Aviv area and were provided with housing, but not enough money to pay the rent! Dugit is doing what it can to subsidize rent, but rents in Israel are very high, and these folks have lost so much! These needs continue as the conflict continues!
Would you consider sowing financially toward our goal? Also, if you would share with other local pastors or ministry leaders about the needs? You can give online at:

Select “Israel Mission Fund” in the dropdown. Or you can make checks payable to :

God has used or Chaim over the last 8 years to be a  blessing into Israel and we want to continue to help our brothers and sisters in the land!

Happy New Year! Shabbat Jan 6, 2024

Shabbat Shalom!

Welcome to the new year 2024! What are your expectations? Are they Adonai’s desires? Are they bigger than you can handle? If you have these expectations and desires that you believe are from The Lord, you can also expect that they will be BIGGER than you can do on your own! As we say 'more in ’24’, it will mean that we will have to trust and depend on God’s power, grace and abilities, as well as continuing to Shema (active listening to Him!) for His direction and leading!

THIS MONTH IS OR CHAIM’S EIGHT BIRTHDAY!

We will be meeting at The Dwelling Place on January 6th at 11am. Our address is 16800 W.9th Ave Golden, 80401. I will be sharing a message, The Glory And The Cross: Fulfillment Of Covenant, with a teaching on the power of the finished work of Yeshua’s crucifixion and how it is the key to understanding Messiah in you — the hope of glory! I am excited about this message that He has given me… so come on out and let’s enjoy Shabbat together! WE WILL HAVE A POTLUCK ONEG FOLLOWING THE SERVICE, SO BRING A DISH AND STAY FOR FELLOWSHIP.

Some upcoming events to be aware of and put in your calendars:  on Sunday January 7th, the Aglow Messianic Lighthouse will be having their monthly meeting, so come on out for great worship, teaching and fellowship! The speakers will be Mark and Carrie Tedder “musicianaries” who just came back from a trip to Israel, and live in Monument. The event begins at 3pm, so bring a “finger-snack” for the fellowship time. On Wednesday January 10th, I will be part of a prayer time as the Colorado State Legislature opens its' 2024 session. We will be meeting in the rotunda basement at 8:30am for a time of worship and intercession, as we begin to proclaim God’s righteousness and justice for our State! All are encouraged to attend, and if you play a guitar, bring it with you!

Also, many have asked how they can give through our different donation methods…You can go to our Or Chaim Congregation website https://www.or-chaim.com  and at MENU, go to GIVING and TITHING and simply click the DONATE button and follow the prompts. Or you can text ‘orchaim’ to (833) 877-2788.  You may always send checks to 1658 Deer Creek Rd., Monument, Co. 80132

Last Shabbat of 2023

Shabbat Shalom!

Well, it is that time of the year, we say ‘goodbye” to one year and we welcome in a new one! Of course on the Kingdom calendar, it’s just another day, but in our culture it is a day we make ”resolutions” that we fully intend to keep, and usually break by day 3! We hope and pray that you have been able to spend some wonderful time with your loved ones and maybe even enjoy some rest and quality time with Yeshua. I fully expect that 2024 will be as tumultuous and Spiritually active as 2023, maybe even more. Im not saying this as a prophetic decree, but as a statement based on what I believe God is doing in these days. My desire is that all of us will consecrate ourselves to actively listening to the voice of Adonai more intentionally, so as to not be shaken by the things that will be happening around us.

This Shabbat December 30th we will meet at The Dwelling Place at 11am! The address is 16800 W.9th Ave Golden 80401. I will be sharing a message that is appropriate for a new year: "DESIRE FOR ’24: MESSIAH IN YOU — THE HOPE OF GLORY”. It will be an encouraging word to help us navigate the times that are ahead of us. WE WILL BE HAVING A POTLUCK ONEG FOLLOWING THE SERVICE, SO BRING A DISH TO SHARE AND STAY FOR THE FELLOWSHIP!

As we come to the end of the year, we would ask that you prayerfully consider a year end financial gift to Or Chaim Congregation. Believe me, we understand the financial hardships we have all gone through over the last few years, however, one thing we have learned over the years is that the Kingdom of God’s economy is not like any other economy! As the scripture tells us, He will “supply and multiply” our seed for a harvest of righteousness! I am confident that 2024 will be a year of breakthrough and promises fulfilled! I love the passage in 1 Corinthians 9:7, “Let giving flow from your heart, not from a sense of religious duty. Let it spring up freely from the joy of giving — ALL BECAUSE GOD LOVES HILARIOUS GENEROSITY!”

Shalom and Many Blessings to you!

Shabbat Shalom!

Hanukkah has ended but the season of miracles has not! As we come upon the end of the year in just a few weeks, the sense that I have is that 2024 will be a year of great kingdom advancement and revelation for the remnant, in the face of the world-wide shakings continuing. As we have been sharing over the last many weeks, when we seek intimacy with our wonderful Lord, and obey what He calls us to do we will experience more of the supernatural! Expect healings, return of the prodigals, and open doors that you thought were permanently shut!

This Shabbat December 16thwe will be meeting at the Dwelling Place at 11am. Our address is 16800 W.9th Ave Golden, 80401. I will be sharing a message out of the Gospel of John, as we continue to look at the 7 miracles of this extraordinary book. We will explore the real purposes behind the miracles and why we should see more of them in our day! WE WILL BE HAVING A POTLUCK ONEG FOLLOWING THE SERVICE, SO BRING A DISH TO SHARE. AND STAY FOR FELLOWSHIP! This past week, we sent out our latest edition of the on-line Tikkun America RESTORE magazine, Please read these articles to see what God is doing in our movement, as well as one that I wrote entitled "FOR EVERYTHING THERE IS A SEASON: A ‘JOSHUA 5’ LEVEL”.

Also, many have asked how they can give through our different donation methods…You can go to our Or Chaim Congregation website https://www.or-chaim.com  and at MENU, go to GIVING AND

Shabbat Nov 25th 2023

Shabbat Shalom and Happy Thanksgiving!

Our prayer has been that you have enjoyed a wonderful time of being thankful for ALL that God has done for you! We had a wonderful time with our family as we gathered at our home, and just enjoyed being with one another! As the long weekend continues, I have also been looking at the weather for the next couple of days. It is very cold here (Monument), with light snow/flurries and the cold will continue at least through tomorrow. As of now (late Friday afternoon) WE WILL PLAN ON HAVING SERVICE TOMORROW! We will continue to monitor the weather so if anything changes we will notify you by email and Facebook. Drive carefully and dress warmly!

So, we will meet at the Dwelling Place, 16800 W.9th Ave Golden, 80401 at 11am! I will be continuing on the theme of INTIMACY/ABIDING, with a fresh look at some of the miracles that Yeshua performed in the Gospel of John. Is this relevant for the day we are living in? Absolutely, and I would add that especially in times of war and and upheaval we need to be DOING what His Word says, and in this, His Kingdom is expanded, and that is what many of His miracles were about. WE WILL HAVE A POTLUCK ONEG FOLLOWING THE SERVICE (GREAT WAY TO GET RID OF SOME OF THOSE LEFTOVERS!), AO BRING A DISH AND STAY FOR THE FELLOWSHIP! By the way, many folks have mentioned how the time of fellowship after service was really sweet and encouraging, so come on out and join with us!

I do want to update you on the solidarity event with the Jewish community last Sunday. It was incredible! About 300 people, Jews and Christians, attended to show their support for Israel and the local Jewish community. Church leaders and Jewish leaders shared about the eternal call of Israel and also what the Church's responsibility is to that nation and its' people today. Several in the Jewish community who attended shared over the next few days how blessed they were at what happened! The bridge is being built, thank you all for your participation and serving during this event!

Also, many have asked how they can give through our different donation methods…You can go to our Or Chaim Congregation website https://www.or-chaim.com  and at MENU, go to GIVING AND TITHING and simply click the DONATE button and follow the prompts. Shabbat Nov 18, 2023

Shabbat Shalom!

As we approach Thanksgiving next week, I am always led to the last verse in the Psalms, “LET EVERYTHING THAT HAS BREATH PRAISE ADONAI. HALLELUYAH!” Yes, Israel is in a time of war, many of us are struggling physically, and we are burdened that our families are not walking with Yeshua, but … we will PRAISE ADONAI because He is worthy! I know, and you do also, that our Redeemer lives and He will do what He has promised He will do! Take time this next week and count your blessings and give Him praise for WHO HE IS, and I guarantee you, you will experience great joy and BREAKTHROUGH!

This Shabbat we will be meeting at 11am at The Dwelling Place, 16800 W.9th Ave Golden, 80401. It is going to be an awesome service where, I believe, God is going to speak to all of us! I have prepared a message, but more importantly, Ruach HaKodesh will lead us into what He wants us to hear. WE WILL HAVE A POTLUCK ONEG FOLLOWING THE SERVICE, SO BRING A DISH TO SHARE AND STAY FOR FELLOWSHIP!

Everyone is encouraged to come out on this Sunday November 19th for a special event WE WONT BE SILENT, as we join in solidarity with the Jewish community to say WE ARE WITH YOU! It will take place at THE LEGACY CAMPUS IN LONE TREE, 10035 S. Peoria St. Lone Tree, 80134 at 3pm. This is an important event for the region but also for the Body of Messiah. In the 1930’s, when anti-semitism was rearing it’s ugly head in Europe, for the most part the Church was silent — and the result was the Holocaust where 6 million Jews and millions of others perished. This is not just an existential war between Israel and Gaza, but a war where God is saying  “I HAVE NOW COME AS COMMANDER OF ADONAI’S ARMY” (Joshua 5:14). We, as the Body of Messiah (Jew and Gentile) are called to stand with God’s people, it is NOT a time of neutrality or silence but to step up and engage in this Spiritual conflict as Israel fights the military conflict! Please do not share this event on social media, but only through word of mouth to those you know will be supportive! If you would like to volunteer for this event (greeters, intercessors, ushers etc.) please let me know and we will direct you to the right person. We look forward to seeing you all there!

Shabbat Nov 11, 2023 Happy Veterans Day!

Shabbat Shalom,

Veteran’s Day, what used to be called ‘Armistice Day’ until 1954, is a day to remember and honor those who have served this nation in the armed forces. As a veteran myself, I just want to thank you men and women, who selflessly gave to this nation, and we honor you for your service! Today, those of us who are serving the Living God are still being called to lay our lives on the line to see His Kingdom purposes realized and advanced in every area of our society. We may not be wearing a uniform, or are not deployed overseas, but we are still called to be watchful and to proclaim and stand in the gap between men and God. “ON YOUR WALLS, JERUSALEM, I HAVE SET WATCHMEN. ALL DAY AND ALL NIGHT, THEY WILL NEVER HOLD THEIR PEACE. YOU WILL REMIND ADONAI, TAKE NO REST FOR YOURSELVES, AND GIVE HIM NO REST UNTIL HE MAKES JERUSALEM A PRAISE IN THE EARTH.” Especially in this dangerous day we find ourselves in, let us endure till the end and do what we can to see the enemies around us defeated and, Yes, that the Name of Yeshua will be exalted and glorified!

This Shabbat November 11thwe will be meeting at the Dwelling Place, 16800 W.9th Ave Golden, 80401 at 11am. This week I sensed from Ruach HaKodesh to share a message on suffering. You might say, “Oy! Can’t we talk about something a bit lighter?” Actually, I think it will be very encouraging and helpful! All of us have experienced suffering but there are some real benefits that can carry us through and it doesn’t gave to always be a downer! We look forward to seeing you this week, and there will be a potluck Oneg following the service — TO EASE THE SUFFERING AFTER THE MESSAGE! There are some important events coming up that I want you be made aware of:

WE WONT BE SILENT: A TIME TO INSPIRE SOLIDARITY AND HOPE IN THIS HOUR OF RISING HATE AGAINST ISRAEL; Come on out and show our support of the Colorado Jewish community! Sunday, November 19th at Legacy Campus, 10035 S. Peoria St. Lone Tree, 80134. It will be at 3pm

SING WITH GLADNESS FOR JACOB - JER.31:7; Saturday, December 9th (see handout on Shabbat!)

HANUKKAH OUTREACH! Caroling, Hanukkah treats and fun in Greenwood Village! A blessing into the Jewish neighborhoods! Monday, December 11th @6pm, REZ ANGLICAN FELLOWSHIP, 9250 E. Belleview Ave. Greenwood Village, 80111

As you can see there are many important events taking place over the next few weeks. PLEASE USE DISCRETION AND WISDOM IN DISCUSSING THESE EVENTS DURING THIS SUPER-CHARGED ATMOSPHERE WE ARE IN AS A NATION!

Also, many have asked how they can give through our different donation methods…You can go to our Or Chaim Congregation website https://www.or-chaim.com  and at MENU, go to GIVING AND TITHING and simply click the DONATE button and follow the prompts. Shabbat 10/28/2023 CANCELED DUE TO WEATHER!

After watching the track of the impending snow and ice storm, Leadership has made the call to cancel tomorrow's Shabbat Service at The Dwelling Place. This cancellation does not include Hayasoda and Torah Club meetings. Your leaders for those gatherings will make the call on those meetings. I believe they will contact you when they decide for sure.  If you have any questions about the classes, please get in touch with your club leaders.

Stay safe and have a blessed Shabbat! Pastor Stew and Millie will be back for next week's service. Please keep them in your prayers, along with our entire congregation.

Please pray for Israel as they enter GAZA!

Shabbat Oct 21, 2023

Shabbat Shalom,

It has been 2 weeks since the world witnessed the brutal attack on the people of Israel and the ugly head of anti-semitism once again showed itself to be just as hateful and prevalent as ever. We have prayed and many have fasted and we have tried to keep you as informed as we can, with various updates from those in the land. This is not a war between Israel and “Palestinians”, but a war brought upon Israel by people under the power of demonic entities who want to see Israel and the Jews wiped out! It is not complicated, it is a continuation of the ages-old agenda of the 'prince of this world’ to destroy the covenant people of God and thus to prove that God is not The Almighty One. The enemies plans will not succeed and God will bring about His purposes and that includes as Romans 11:26 states, “all Israel will be saved …”! Please continue to pray for wisdom and divinely inspired strategies for Israel’s leaders, protection over the IDF and the people of the land, and that the harvest of souls will be the result among both Arabs and Jews!

This Shabbat October 21st we will be meeting at The Dwelling Place at 11am. The address is 16800 W.9th Ave Golden, 80401, so come on out and enjoy Shabbat with the ‘Mishpacha’ and be inspired by the Word, worship and the fellowship of a loving family! Father has given me a message to share, especially for this day we are living in, ABIDING: AUTHORITY, POWER, PRESENCE AND JOY! This is not a day to be fearful or timid in how we live or what we say, but to walk in the new identity as sons and daughters of the Living God. We look forward to seeing you and we will have a potluck Oneg following the service, so bring a dish and stay for fellowship. Our dance team will be showing their support for Israel and will be going to the 16th Street Mall for an afternoon outreach, so come on out and join with them and reach out to the community!

Also, many have asked how they can give through our different donation methods…You can go to our Or Chaim Congregation website https://www.or-chaim.com  and at MENU, go to GIVING AND TITHING and simply click the DONATE button and follow the prompts. Shabbat 10/14/2023

Shabbat Shalom,

My weekly greeting of 'Shabbat Shalom’ is bit harder this week as it has been a very heart-wrenching week of war, however it is so important and especially meaningful today. I wish you, from the bottom of my heart, a 'PEACEFUL REST’ even and especially in times of violence and unparalleled evil! Us, and many of you have been praying constantly for the people of Israel, as so many of them are friends of ours, and also that this nation would stand with Eretz Israel! As you know, we have been joining with millions around the world praying for a harvest of Jewish souls, and the devil along with the prince of Persia is angry and attempting to instill fear in God’s people, DON'T ALLOW FEAR TO TAKE HOLD! Our God is Adonai Tz’Vaot, the Lord God of angel armies, and He will have the victory! Stay strong and stay in prayer and don’t be discouraged or led astray by voices in the media that may soon begin to turn on the apple of God’s eye!

This Shabbat October 14th we will be meeting at the Dwelling Place at 11am. The address is 16800 W.9th Ave Golden, 80401. We will be continuing our theme on INTIMACY: HIS WORD IN US! This will be a very timely message especially for the day that we are living in! We will also be praying for the situation in Israel, which will include a special chanting of Kaddish. THERE WILL BE A POTLUCK ONEG FOLLOWING THE SERVICE, SO BRING A DISH TO SHARE AND STAY FOR FELLOWSHIP!

I have to bring up a subject for your urgent prayer consideration. Those who know me are well aware that I LOATH to talk about finances! However, the finances of Or Chaim Congregation are very low. The bottom line is,  our outflow of expenses has been exceeding the inflow in the form of tithes and offerings. This has been ongoing for sometime and we are asking for your prayer into this situation. We know that our God is more than able to provide for all of our needs ACCORDING TO HIS RICHES IN GLORY! The good news is, we are not in debt or unable to pay expenses and bills, and we are continuing to support ministries in Israel, Africa and here locally! We have been in contact with our covering, Tikkun America, and are hearing that many other congregations are experiencing the same situation. So, we ask that you PRAY so that we can continue to provide for the Spiritual and practical needs of our community, and to be faithful to GIVE so as to be a blessing here, in Israel and into the nations!

Shabbat Sukkot Sameach 10/7/2023

Shabbat  Shalom and Chag Sameach!
What an amazing season we have enjoyed! The Fall feast celebrations have been special and the presence of Adonai has been thick!

Millie and I have been in Fruita, Co., celebrating Succoth with a Messianic Kehila we have gotten to know over the months, Beit Lechem. We have had wonderful meetings with them and have had opportunities to share about the significance of this season. Last night, they had an evening of worship and testimony, and it was so encouraging to hear young people sharing how they have encountered Yeshua in special ways!

We will be having our Shabbat service tomorrow, October 7th, at The Dwelling Place at 11am! The address is 16800 W. 9th Ave, Golden 80132. Looking forward to seeing you all there!
Blessings and Shabbat Shalom!

Shabbat/Yom Kippur 5784

Shalom and L’Shana Tovah!

We had an amazing weekend with a beautiful Yom Teruahservice on Friday evening with many visitors and a special presence of The Holy One! On Shabbat afternoon, many of us spent a glorious afternoon at Castlewood Canyon Church in Franktown to enjoy Beckah Shea, and again, the presence of Adonai was sweet and many people were touched by her music and her testimony! On Sunday I was invited to share at Fuel Church here in Monument on the Fall Feasts. Bishop Eugenio and myself were blessed by the openness of the folks as we shared on the “Feasts of The Lord”, and again, Yeshua was moving in our midst as we were able to pray for healing and anoint people with oil!

This Shabbat September 23rd at 11am is “T’Shuva Shabbat”, the Shabbat between Yom Teruah and Yom Kippur, named for the Haftorah portion found in Hosea 14:2, “RETURN O ISRAEL, TO ADONAI YOUR GOD, FOR YOU HAVE STUMBLED IN YOUR INIQUITY.” This is a season where God is calling His Kahal (called out ones, Church) to turn back to the One who has called us into covenant with Him! We also cry out for our nation to return to the One who forgives, restores and gives us life and purpose! I will be sharing a message on The Fruit of a Yielded Life, as we are desiring a closer more intimate walk with our Lord. We will have a potluck Oneg following the service, so bring a dish to share and stay for fellowship! On Sunday evening September 24th, we will be having our annual KOL NIDRE YOM KIPPUR SERVICE at The Dwelling Place at 6:30pm! Yom Teruah Rosh HaShanah Friday night!

Shalom and Shana Tova!

Such an amazing season that we are entering! The Feast of Trumpets, Yom Teruah, has morphed into over the millennia as Rosh HaShana (head of the year, literally) for the Jewish people. Although not the Biblical new year (that is in the month of Nisan at Passover), it has become a traditional and civil new year, so we celebrate this Biblical feast with a sense of awe and expectation! It is the beginning of the 10 DAYS OF AWE, between Yom Teruah and Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement), some of the most significant and important days of God’s appointed times (Mo’adim) where His people meet with Him, and look forward to the day of ingathering and final harvest, and the triumphant return of our glorious Yeshua!

We will be gathering for our annual Yom Teruah service this Friday eveningSeptember 15th at 6:30pm! The address for The Dwelling Place is 16800 W. 9th Ave Golden, 80401. BRING YOUR SHOFARS AND BE PREPARED TO MAKE A JOYFUL NOISE TO ADONAI! This is always a special time for Or Chaim as we celebrate this Feast of Adonai, and worship Him and celebrate His goodness and faithfulness to us! This will be a great opportunity to invite your friends and neighbors to experience this special service, and for them to experience the richness of the season. This will be our service for the weekend as we will not meet on Saturday morning! We are all invited to a special concert with BECKAH SHEA at CASTLEWOOD CANYON CHURCH in Franktown at 4pm on September 16th! The address for the church is 389 N. Castlewood Canyon, Franktown. The event is free but RSVP at ccanyon.org and a free-will offering will be taken, so bring your shofar and your camping chair because, weather-permitting, it will be at the outdoor amphitheater around the fire!

We know that this is a busy time of the year but it is also probably one of the most Spiritually active seasons of the year. The Holy One is desiring to meet with us and speak to us and empower us for the tumultuous times before us. These are not just random dates on the calendar or “Jewish things” or religious activities where we “check the box” and feel good about ourselves. These days are invitations from our King to meet with Him and experience His love for us, and to honor Him and receive grace and fresh revelation to enter into this new season! We look forward to seeing you on Friday evening!

Shabbat Sept 2, 2023

Shabbat Shalom!

We have been on “assignment" this week. Some would call them Prophetic acts or just kingdom business. Either way, it is something Millie and I have been engaged in for many years in various places in the world. It is when you DO something that you sense God has asked you to DO. And as you are doing, you pray, make proclamations and decrees, take communion and seal the work in Ruach HaKodesh. We were given a packet of dirt/sand from 4 locations that were very significant in historic events that advanced the Kingdom of God (Cape Henry; Red River Meeting House, Wales, and the Mount of Olives). We prayed and asked Father where we were to “plant the dirt” and He made it very clear to Millie and I that we were to go to 2 specific places. On Wednesday we took some dirt to Gateway on Mt. Zion Church at the top of Lookout Mountain, the western gate into the Denver/Front Range region. Today (Friday), we brought the rest of the dirt to Church In The City/Beth Abraham and buried it where the “cornerstone” is with the engraving from Psalm 118:22, “The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone.” Many of you know that this church was originally one of the oldest Orthodox synagogues in the city built in 1921, it is also the geographic center of Denver! And, it is the place where Millie and I ministered when we first came to Colorado 15 years ago! Both of these assignments were incredible and we do believe there will be a mighty move of God, in our people and in our region!

This Shabbat September 2nd(hard to believe its September!) we will of course be meeting at The Dwelling Place, 16800 W. 9th AveGolden, 80401at 11am. We will be continuing with the theme of INTIMACY; GOD’S WAY OF ADVANCING THE KINGDOM with a message about the connection between intimacy, revelation and the power of God! This will be an important message so it will be important to be there or if you can’t, tune in on livestream  with our YouTube channel. We will have an Oneg following the service, so bring a dish and stay for fellowship!

The dates for the Fall Feasts:

And, don’t forget Paul Wilbur will be at Gateway on MT. Zion for a concert on Saturday evening September 9th at 6:30pm. The address is: 166 S. Lookout Mt. Rd. Golden, 80401.

I know it’s summer and many of us have travel and holiday plans, but it is SO important to gather together with the Mishpacha as often as you can! The writer of Hebrews states, "AND DO NOT NEGLECT OUR OWN MEETINGS, AS IS THE HABBIT OF SOME, BUT ENCOURAGE ONE ANOTHER — AND ALL THE MORE AS YOU SEE THE DAY APPROACHING.”

Blessings and Shabbat Shalom!

Shabbat Aug 19, 2023 surprise guests from Israel!

I am just loving my summer up on Monument summit! Temperatures are cooler than in the city and the views of the Front Range are gorgeous! As I mentioned in a recent blog, it helps me to get my perspective focused on Kingdom, as opposed to the insanity of this fallen world we are living in. As I write this morning, we are now in the month of Elul, the season that the King is in the field beckoning us to prepare to meet with Him. We are anticipating the sound of the Shofar, to prepare our hearts and our attitudes to gather for the Fall festivals, which remind us that Yeshua our eternal King, will be returning triumphantly to dwell with us and set up His millennial kingdom!

Join us this Shabbat August 19th as we gather at 11am at the Dwelling Place to worship together as His Mishpacha! We have special guests joining us from Israel! NO LIVE-STREAMING AFTER WORSHIP so you will want to attend to get a hot off the press update!

The address is 16800 W.9th Ave Golden, 80401. You will truly be blessed, and it is a great opportunity to “recharge your batteries” as we hear what God is doing in our lives, worship together and celebrate Yeshua, and share the wonderful good news that our God reigns! Following the service, we will have a potluck Oneg, so bring a dish to share and stay for fellowship! I want to share some important events so that you can put them in your calendar, as we are coming into a busy time of the year. We are producing a flyer that will have all the events and hopefully it will be ready soon.

On Shabbat September 2nd, Ron and Elana Cantor will be with us for the morning service. They will give us an update on what God is doing in Israel and, believe me, you will not want to miss this! On Saturday evening September 9th, Paul Wilbur will be at Gateway on Mt. Zion Church at 6:30pm! We would suggest getting there as soon as the doors open to get a seat and invite your friends to this special concert, he will also be ministering at their church service on the morning of September 10th at 10am. These events are free.

Here are the dates and times for the Fall Mo’adim (Feasts):

Friday September 15th EREV YOM TERUAH SERVICE (Feast of Trumpets) 6:30pmat The Dwelling Place

Shabbat September 16th NO MORNING SERVICE! Becka Shea concert at Castlewood Canyon Church 4pm. 389 Castlewood Canyon Rd, Franktown 80116

Friday September 29th - Sunday October 1stSUCCOTH CELEBRATION WITH BILL BULLOCK! Castlewood Canyon Church, Franktown

As I said, this is a busy season that we are gearing up for! However, the last thing we want to do is get caught up in the “busyness” so much that we miss the whole point of these gatherings, TO BE WITH OUR GLORIOUS KING!

Also, many have asked how they can give through our different donation methods…You can go to our Or Chaim Congregation website https://www.or-chaim.com  and at MENU, go to GIVING AND TITHING and simply click the DONATE button and follow the prompts. Special Shabbat! Ted Pearce Aug 12, 2020

Shabbat Shalom!

Just a short update today, as we have returned home from an all-day meeting. Join us this Shabbat as we welcome Messianic recording artist Ted Pearce to our Congregation! Ted has become a good friend to us over the years and we are honored to have him, as he has travelled all over the world sharing about God’s heart and His love for His people! Our service begins at 11am, and we are meeting at The Dwelling Place; 16800 W.9th Ave Golden, 80401. This would be a great service to invite your friends and family to, as Ted has a very unique and engaging way of sharing the message of the Kingdom, to the Jew and to the Gentile!

We will have a potluck Oneg following the service, SO BRING A DISH TO SHARE AND STAY FOR FELLOWSHIP! Our dance team will be doing outreach on the 16th StreetMall in the afternoon,  so come on out and join them and talk to folks about our wonderful Yeshua!

Also, many have asked how they can give through our different donation methods…You can go to our Or Chaim Congregation website https://www.or-chaim.com  and at MENU, go to GIVING AND TITHING and simply click the DONATE button and follow the prompts. Again, we look forward to seeing all of you this Shabbat.
