This Weekend we enter into the Fall Feasts with a special service on Friday September 18th at 6:30pm to celebrate Y0M TERUAH or Day of Blowing! This appointed time is the Biblical Feast of Trumpets , and is also know by many as traditional Rosh Hashanah the head of the New year! There is a lot of history here. We will be joining together with Gateway On Mount Zion to welcome these 10 DAYS OF AWE where we will blow the shofar, announcing coronation of the King (Yeshua!) and enter a special time of intimacy with God and open heavens! As we enter into the year 5781 in the decade of “The Mouth” (Hebrew letter PEH), we will boldly proclaim that the God of creation will soon return to set up His Throne in the earth! All are invited and we encourage you to bring your Shofar and worship with us. This will be a joyous celebration with great fellowship complete with apples and honey and special Challah as we look forward to a sweet New Year!
WE WILL NOT HAVE OUR REGULAR SHABBAT MORNING SERVICE ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 19TH. Instead, We will be continuing the celebration of The Feast Of Trumpets with a Holy Convocation at 3pm at PINE VALLEY OPEN SPACE, 30400 CHRYSTAL LAKE RD., PINE, CO. 80470. We will be joining with others in the Messianic community for a picnic, fellowship, praise, blowing the shofar, hiking etc. Come on out and enjoy with us! Bring your own picnic lunch and a sweet to share!
As we enter into the Days of Awe leading up to Yom Kippur, Millie and I want to encourage you to diligently pray and spend time in His presence, asking Him to show areas that need to change (T’Shuva), and to re-consecrate so as to walk in the fullness of The Lord!
On Shabbat, September 26th, we will be gathering for a special event on the Mountain and simulcast THE RETURN, A NATIONAL AND GLOBAL DAY OF PRAYER AND REPENTANCE, from the sanctuary. The event is from 7am-7pm MST, and we are working out the details on how we will engage with this important event.
On Sunday September 27th at 6:30pm, we will have our KOL NIDRE YOM KIPPUR SERVICE. This is a special service as we repent corporately from all sins and vows and commemorate our awesome atonement by the blood of Yeshua! All are invited for this appointed time! We are working on some exciting things for Succoth, which begins on Friday evening October 2nd. Stay tuned! How does a Shabbat service and campout sound At the WESTENDORF’s Farm? As you can see, this is a busy and exciting season! In addition to these upcoming events we are still meeting at the Capitol in Denver on Mondays at 6pm. These have been powerful times of prayer, scripture proclamation and worship as we declare who God is in this city and pray for His Shalom in our nation!
