Shabbat 3/20/2021

Shalom Family!

All last week, we were hearing about the massive snow storm that was approaching our area, my initial ‘feeling’ was this is over-hype, based on my experience with media and experts over the last year! However, on Saturday morning it arrived and as we all experienced that it lived up to the hype. We were finally able to ‘dig out’ on Monday morning on the mountain and realize once again that these old bodies are not suited very well with digging out from a couple of feet of wet, heavy snow! But we all survived and I don’t know about you, I missed our Shabbat service and am so looking forward to this Shabbat, March 20th!

Father has been speaking to me and many others about the need for all of us to re-connect with Him in the “secret place” of intense and passionate intercessory prayer. My message is BUILD MY HOUSE OF PRAYER! The season we are in where government institutions, educational systems, science and technology and even our families and Congregations have failed to meet the challenges we are facing, the only answer is the ancient path of falling on our knees and crying out to God! He is saying RETURN TO ME AND MY WAYS, and we instinctively know that He is calling us all to be that House of prayer. To be this House does not require government permit and approval or even a building to meet in! Come on out this Shabbat and let’s worship Yeshua together!

Passover is coming up on Saturday evening March 27th! This year we are meeting in homes to enjoy smaller more intimate settings. Actually that is reminiscent of the first passover when the Israelites were commanded to gather in ‘households’ on the 14th day Nissan and eat the meal “with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet and your staff in your hand”. In other words, knowing that the blood of the Lamb has been applied to the “doorposts of our hearts”, we are to be ready to move out at His command! He is preparing His Bride and celebrating the passover is a huge part of this preparation! We have three ‘households' within Or Chaim that are hosting Seders:

*The Criders' and the Preussners' will be hosting at Russ and Siri’s home; 22493 E Maplewood Ln, Aurora 80015 (720) 469-0234

*David and Laura Aronstein will be hosting at their home; 7220 Box Canyon Rd, Sedalia 80135 (316) 200-5576

*Patricia DeLeon along with he Liebermans’ will be hosting at Patricia’s home; 10578 Ouray St, Commerce City 80022 (720) 431-2387

WE WANT TO ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO PARTICIPATE IN OUR PASSOVER SEDERS! IF YOU HAVE'NT ALREADY, PLEASE CONTACT THE HOST AND LET THEM KNOW THAT YOU WILL ATTEND AND HOW MANY WILL BE IN YOUR PARTY. WE ARE ORDERING THE LAMB AND CHICKEN, AND NEED TO KNOW EXACT NUMBERS BEFORE TUESDAY, MARCH 23RD! THERE IS NO COST FOR THIS SPECIAL EVENING!

Also, please keep Millie and I, Julie Immer, Elizabeth Lewis and Diane Williams in your prayer as we prepare to go to Nairobi, Kenya from April 3-16 to minister during “HIS HAND FOR AFRICA” leadership conference! We have linked with these precious folks over the last few years and are excited to be with them again!
