Pesach “Passover” March 27, 2021
/Shalom Mishpacha!
We are in the month of Nissan, the first month of the Hebrew calendar. It is the month of new beginnings, freedom and a time of remembrance. In Colorado we are enjoying fresh snow as this is the snowiest month of the year, but we also know that Spring is right around the corner. It is also the season of Pesach (Passover), when we celebrate God’s mighty deliverance of the Israelites from slavery in Egypt! WE WILL BE HAVING OUR MORNING SHABBAT SERVICE ON MARCH 27TH! I will share about this special mo’ed (appointed time), especially in light of the events of the last year. I sense in my spirit, that this will be a significant time for the body of Messiah and that we are to enter this festival in the same way the children of Israel did: “with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet and your staff in your hand.” In other words, ready to move out in the new things God is preparing to do!
On Erev Passover, Saturday evening March 27th we will be gathering in homes to celebrate our Seders. Many of you have already signed up to attend the different gatherings, but we still have room for a few more, however, you need to let us know as soon as possible! Here are the locations for our Seders:
* Russ and Siri Crider along with the Preussners; 22493 E Maplewood Ln., Aurora 80015 (720)469-0235
* David and Laura Aronstein; 7220 Box Canyon Road, Sedalia 80135 (316)200-5576
* Patricia DeLeon along with the Liebermans; 10578 Ouray St, Commerce City 80022 (720)431-2387
If you want to attend, please call the hosts and let them know how many will be attending so we will know how much food to prepare. This will be a wonderful and festive time as we celebrate freedom in our Yeshua, the Passover Lamb!
We so look forward to seeing all on Shabbat as it will be our only time to celebrate Passover “all together”! This is a time for our community to meet together, for as you may remember, last year we were “forbidden” to gather together for fear that we would all get covid and die! That may be a bit overstated (not really!), but we do sense that in this new season we are to lift up Yeshua in our midst, and celebrate our life in Him!
Shalom and Chag Sameach!
