Shabbat 3/22/2025

Shabbat Shalom!

I was reflecting on some medical procedures that Millie and I have had recently. Both of us have had to have eye surgeries because of serious vision issues, and I have recently had to start using hearing aids. Our vision and our hearing, are incredibly important functions and if they are not operating at optimum capacity can cause great problems! We can do one of two things. We can do nothing and not see or hear what we need to and settle for lack of clarity and understanding, or we can try to correct and be more aware of what’s happening! The same can be said about our SPIRITUAL vision and hearing! I don’t know about you, but I’m crying out for more discernment in what I see and hear so I can determine God’s heart and desire for us in these tumultuous days. I have been meditating on a verse lately, "HE MADE HIS WAYS KNOWN TO MOSES, HIS DEEDS TO THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL” (Psalm 103:7). Moses had a different relationship with Adonai, he wanted to know intimately the heart, desires and ways of His Creator, while the children of Israel were satisfied with answered prayer! God desires intimacy and friendship with His children!

I am excited about our Shabbat service this week, so come on out and worship with us at The Dwelling Place at 11am! Our address is 16800 W.9th Ave Golden, 80401. I will be continuing on our theme of The Awe Of God, with a message entitled Face To Face friendship: Where Revival Begins. I have been praying, as many of you have, for REVIVAL in Colorado, the nation and Israel for many years! I want to see transformation in the Bride of Messiah, a love for God’s chosen people, and a hatred of sin sweep through our Congregations and churches! Revival starts with us, as we take stock of our own lives and hunger and thirst to know God intimately, and deal with the things that keep us from that relationship. We will enjoy a POTLUCK ONEG FOLLOWING THE SERVICE, SO BRING A DISH TO SHARE AND STAY FOR FELLOWSHIP!

Remember, Passover begins on April 12th, and we will be joining with The Dwelling Place for their Seder, so be sure to sign up for this wonderful time! The price is incredibly reasonable at $25, so sign up in the sanctuary! Also, Millie and I will be leading a Seder at Castlewood Canyon Church in Franktown on Sunday April 13th at 10am! Tickets are still available for this but space is limited for both events.
