Shabbat 12/7/2019

Shabbat Shalom!
On a personal note, this was moving week! Millie and I sold our townhouse in Westminster and have moved farther “up the mountain” to Genesee! We love our new place, but moving can be pretty consuming as you can imagine. Stay tuned for our ‘housewarming’ when you all will be invited to come up for fellowship! This Shabbat, December 7th I will start a new series entitled “A JOURNEY BACK TO OUR BIBLICAL ROOTS”. There has been a movement in the body of Messiah to “unhitch” itself from the Jewish scriptures, with the injunction that all we need is Jesus! How can we possibly do this when so much of our Old Testament speaks about Yeshua! We need to become passionate about the Word of God, and see that Genesis 1:1 is as much a part of our faith as John 3:16! Hope you can all come out and join us. WE WILL HAVE A POT-BLESS ONEG FOLLOWING THE SERVICE, SO BRING A DISH AND STAY FOR THE FELLOWSHIP!

Our Shabbat day is a full day with Hebrew study at 9am led by Kent Brown. This has been a blessing to those who have been diligent to understand the language of the scriptures and learning to read and write this beautiful language. At 3pm we have been having Torah Club, and they have been studying Torah from the perspective of the “Shadows of the Messiah”. Wonderful times, so come on out and join us!

Recently I mentioned that we will be having an Immersion (Baptism) service at Roeh Israel this Sunday , December 8th. This event is postponed until a later date. If the Lord has put on your heart to be immersed please let me know as we look to reschedule this event.

Blessings and Shabbat Shalom!

Praying for and Saying goodbye to Mary Jane! We will miss her!

Shabbat Nov 30, 2019

Shabbat Shalom!
Millie and I, and all the leadership team at Or Chaim Congregation want to wish all of you a happy and blessed Thanksgiving! We know that for many of you, this has been a difficult and challenging year: illness, family tragedy, financial hardship and other faith-shaking events have caused us to cry out to our Faithful Father. What a great time to cry out to our God with the words of the Psalmist, “Give thanks to the Lord, for His steadfast love endures forever” (Psalm 136:1)! We are thankful for each and every one of you and pray that God will pour out HIS goodness and blessings upon you and your families, and that the upcoming year will be one of overflowing provision and release of destiny!

This Shabbat, November 30th, I sense that Father is leading us to begin a JOURNEY BACK TO OUR BIBLICAL ROOTS! There has been a subtle, and also a not so subtle attempt to “unhitch” our faith from the Torah, the prophets, and the ancient writings (Tanach), and to minimize the “ancient paths” as irrelevant in the 21st century, after all, they say, don’t we just need more of Jesus (Yeshua)? Yes intimate relationship with Yeshua is of the highest priority for living out Torah in the Spirit! However, people wonder, “how did we get where we are at today?” The Lord is bringing us as His Body to a place of renewing our love and allegiance to the ENTIRE COUNSEL OF HIS WORD! Come and join us this Shabbat as we begin this journey!

WE WILL HAVE A POT-BLESS ONEG FOLLOWING THE SERVICE, SO BRING A DISH TO SHARE AND HANG OUT FOR FELLOWSHIP, DANCE PRACTICE, AND TORAH CLUB!

As was mentioned last week, we want to provide an opportunity for those who have not been immersed (baptized), or who feel they need to be re-immersed, to follow The Lord in obedience. Acts 2:38 says “ Repent and be immersed, every one of you, in the name of Yeshua The Messiah for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Ruach HaKodesh.” We do not believe that the act of immersion in itself saves us, but we believe it is a Biblical injunction for all Believers. It is a public proclaiming that Yeshua is now Lord of my life! If you would like to be immersed, please let me or one of the elders know. At this time we are planning a service for the weekend of December 7-8, PLACE AND TIME TO BE DETERMINED!

This Sunday, December 1st, the COLORADO MESSIANIC WOMENS FELLOWSHIP will hold its quarterly gathering at the Koelbel Library, 5955 S.Holly St., Centennial 80121, between 1pm and 4pm. This a great place to meet other ladies from around the State, worship together and be encouraged and inspired by one another! Come on out and enjoy the fellowship and bring some snacks to share!

Blessings and Shabbat Shalom!

Shabbat November 23, 2019

Shabbat Shalom!
Hope you are having a great week! Have you ever felt “out of your element”? This week I experienced one of those times. I had been invited to speak at Denver Seminary to teach on Eschatology by the Dean of Messianic Studies Program. I’ve never set foot in a Seminary nor have I taught any college level class Before However it went well and we all had a wonderful time! What a great opportunity to share about the significance of the day we are living in and discuss how then we shall live as light in the world. Please continue to pray for Chaim Urbach who is the usual professor of this class and is recovering from a stroke he suffered two weeks ago.

This Shabbat, November 23rd, I will complete a series on The Glory, what it is and how to walk in it. All I know is That many at Or Chaim want to experience the glory more and more and desire to see people saved, healed, delivered and the kingdom advance into every corner of our world!

This will be a special Shabbat as we celebrate Yeshua’s Table (communion) during our service.

WE WILL HAVE A POT-BLESS ONEG FOLLOWING OUR MORNING SERVICE, SO BRING A DISH TO SHARE AND STAY FOR FELLOWSHIP! These times are special as we get to know one another better over a meal, so I want to encourage you to join us and bring your favorite dish.

The Colorado Messianic Women’s Fellowship will have their quarterly gathering on Sunday December 1st at Koelbel Library, 5955 S. Holly St. Centennial 80121. It is from 1pm-4pm and is a wonderful time of worship and dance with an inspiring message and great fellowship! Come on out and meet other Messianic women from all over Colorado!

Many other things are going at OCC, including Torah Club, Hebrew class, and don’t forget Hanukkah is just around the corner! We look forward to seeing you on Shabbat!

Blessings, Shabbat Shalom and we hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving this next week.

Shabbat Nov 16, 2019

Shabbat Shalom!
With Thanksgiving just around the corner why not take an opportunity to count the many things you have to be thankful for! Our spouses, families, our health, our relationships to name just a few. Most importantly, I am thankful for Yeshua’s presence in my life and for the fact that God always sees me and shows his amazing love in tangible ways. Let’s all become people who are quick to be genuinely thankful in all things! This Shabbat, November 16th, I want to share a fresh message from The Lord, that has encouraged me immensely and I hope it will you too! Remember, we have an adversary who wants to keep us miserable and feeling helpless and we are always in a place of warfare. So let’s be thankful and look upward!

WE WILL HAVE A POT-BLESS ONEG FOLLOWING THE SERVICE, SO BRING A DISH TO SHARE AND STAY FOR FELLOWSHIP!

Many of us have gotten to know Terry King and his mother, Letha, who would accompany Terry every week. She passed into her final reward last week. There will be a service honoring her life next Wednesday, November 20th at 10 am at GOMZ.

We so look forward to seeing you all this Shabbat. Remember, we have a Biblical Hebrew class every Shabbat at 9am, and our Torah Club at 3pm. we are so looking forward to seeing you this Shabbat!
Blessings and Shabbat Shalom!

Shabbat Nov 9, 2019

Shabbat Shalom Mishpacha!
Millie and I returned back from our vacation late last night! As you can imagine, it was a wonderful and memorable anniversary celebration of 44 years. My, where has the time gone?! Back then, we had no gray hair, our waist lines were a bit smaller, but our love has grown so much and so deep!
This Shabbat, November 9th, I will be sharing a message from my series on The Glory. We will be exploring how the Glory is manifested, and that God has called us to be vessels of His glory.

WE WILL BE HAVING A POT-BLESS ONEG FOLLOWING THE SERVICE, SO BRING A DISH TO SHARE AND STAY FOR WONDERFUL FELLOWSHIP!

Our Torah Club will be taking place at 3pm, as well as Kent’s Biblical Hebrew class at 9am.

For those who don’t know LuAnn Mitchell had surgery to remove a spot on her kidney. She wrote and said all went well and she may be able to go home tomorrow. Please keep her in your prayers for a speedy recovery.

We so look forward to seeing everyone, it feels like it’s been forever! We have missed all of you and you have all been in our prayer!
Blessings and Shabbat Shalom!

Shabbat and Succoth Weekend 10/12-13

Shabbat Shalom and Chag Sameach!

This has been an especially meaningful and powerful moadim (appointed times) we have been observing this year. As we began the month of Elul, at the first of September, Father encouraged us to rend our hearts and repent, fast and intensely seek Him for our individual lives, family and our Congregation. With the arrival of Yom Teruah and Yom Kippur, The Lord visited us in wonderful ways, and there was much repentance and re-alignment according to His covenantal love and holiness! As we approach Succoth, I am encouraged that we have embarked on a journey into a deeper impartation of His Presence in our lives and corporate gatherings! As He becomes our first love again and we get rid of “false lovers” in our hearts, there will be much fruit and a great harvest for the kingdom! This Shabbat, October 12th, the Lord has put on my heart a message that has guided me for a long time, and something that is appropriate for Succoth, WHAT NEEDS TO TAKE PLACE FOR YESHUA’S RETURN? This is an important and timely message and we hope to see you on the mountain! BECAUSE OF THE SEASON OF THE HIGH HOLIDAYS, AND THE SPECIAL SERVICES AND EVENTS THAVE BEEN AND WILL BE TAKING PLACE, WE WILL NOT BE HAVING ONEG THIS SHABBAT!

EREV SUCCOTH

This Sunday October 13th at 5:30pm we will be gathering on the mountain WITH OUR FRIENDS FROM GOMZ and put up a succah, and enjoy this special holiday and final harvest celebrating God’s dwelling with His people! We will worship as ONE NEW MAN IN MESSIAH, wave the lulav and the etrog, and decorate the succah together and have a joyous time! PLEASE BRING APPROPRIATE FOLIAGE AND DECORATIONS, INCLUDING EVERGREEN BOUGHS AND HOMEMADE ORNAMENTS, FRUIT CLUSTERS ETC! WE WILL START SET-UP BETWEEN 5-5:30PM AND BEGIN OUR SERVICE AT 6:30PM! ALL ARE INVITED AND THIS IS A FAMILY EVENT SO BRING THE KIDS AND SOME SNACKS FOR FELLOWSHIP AFTERWARDS!

We look forward to seeing you this weekend!

Blessings and Chag Sameach!

Shabbat Oct 5, 2019

Shabbat Shalom!
We are in the midst of “10 Days Of Awe”, the special time of gathering together between Yom Teruah and Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement). We had an incredibly sweet service for Yom Teruah/Rosh HaShana last Sunday night, with a joint service with Gateway on Mount Zion Church, as we sounded the shofar, worshipped and welcomed the King and fellowshipped with one another! The next day, several of us went hiking in the mountains, remembering and sharing testimony about the meaning of this special appointed time. This Shabbat, October 5th, we will celebrate and observe “Shabbat T’Shuva”, a special Shabbat that occurs between Yom Teruah and Yom Kippur. We will be welcoming back, Rabbi Todd Westphal from El Shaddai Messianic Congregation in Frederick, Md. Todd was with us a couple of years ago and is a good friend of Or Chaim, he is also on the Tikkun International Board, as well as the Tikkun America Apostolic team. He has a great love for the Word of God and a zeal and passion for the body of Messiah! This will be a wonderful time in the presence of The Lord, so we hope to see you  ‘on the mountain!” THERE WILL BE A POT-BLESS ONEG FOLLOWING THE SERVICE, SO BRING A DISH TO SHARE AND STAY FOR WONDERFUL FELLOWSHIP!

On Tuesday October 8th at 7pm at GOMZ we will observe Yom Kippur by having a Kol Nidre service. This is the most holiest day of the Kingdom calendar, and we will have a solemn gathering where we will break all vows of the previous year, enter into a time of corporate repentance, and worship the Messiah who shed His blood so that we can live in liberty! All are invited to this special time, as we recognize that this is not just a "Jewish thing”, but something all of us are invited to participate in. At the conclusion of the service, we will encourage all to join in the Biblically mandated fast, where the scriptures command us to “humble ourselves.” On Wednesday October 9th at 6:30pm we will conclude our Yom Kippur observance with a “Break Fast” (not breakfast!), when we will gather together and read the book of Jonah, blow the shofar announcing the year of Jubilee and enjoy a pot-bless meal together! WE WERE GOING TO HAVE THIS VERY SPECIAL TIME AT THE HOME OF THE LARSENS’, BUT DUE TO JOYCE’S RECENT SURGERY, WE WILL NOT HAVE IT THERE. WE WILL LET YOU KNOW WHERE THIS BREAK FAST WILL TAKE PLACE THIS WEEKEND! PLEASE STAY TUNED AND BE IN PRAYER FOR A QUICK RECOVERY FOR JOYCE!

There are many other upcoming events for this month including Erev Succoth on Sunday October 13th and a community celebration of Simcha Torah at Roeh Israel Congregation on October 21st! We will share more details with you in the coming days. As you can see these are exciting days, like the Days of Elijah we read and sing about, Millie and I pray that you and your family will experience greater intimacy with Yeshua, and a hope-filled and glorious Shana Tova 5780!
Blessings and Shabbat Shalom and Chag Sameach!

Shabbat 9/28/2019

Shabbat Shalom!
This weekend we enter into the season of the Fall Feasts of The Lord! We have been in a time of introspection, rending our hearts and asking God to show us where we are “out of alignment.” On this Sunday evening September 29th at 6:30pm, we will enter into YomTeruah, The Day of Blowing of Shafarot, where we turn from introspection to expectation. Our expectation of the soon return of Yeshua, the King of Glory as we enter into the 10 days of Awe between Yom Teruah and Yom Kippur. All are invited to come up to “the mountain” to celebrate this wonderful season, so bring your shofar and be prepared to worship the king and be reminded of what the sound of the shofar represents! On this Shabbat, September 28th, I will be sharing a message about what this season is all about, and how it is relevant to all that is happening in the world around us. Many of our ladies will be involved in the Women’s retreat from 9/26-9/28, so will not be with us for our Shabbat service. Men, you are not left out! We are invited to join with Gateway On Mt. Zion Church for their Men’s retreat on Friday, 9/27 from 10am-12:30pm, with a free afternoon and then we will welcome Erev Shabbat at 6:30pm, followed by a delicious BBQ dinner of brisket and chicken! The dinner will be followed by an evening session. The speaker is Dave McDaniel of Men Of Issachar, a ministry of Aglow International. He is an engaging speaker with a heart to see men walk into their complete identity! There will be another meeting on Saturday evening at 6:30pm. The cost for this retreat is only $20, but don’t worry if you don’t have the money, just let me know and come and enjoy!

WE WILL HAVE A POT-BLESS ONEG FOLLOWING OUR SHABBAT MORNING SERVICE, SO REMEMBER TO BRING A DISH TO SHARE AND STICK AROUND FOR FELLOWSHIP. THERE WILL BE HEBREW CLASS AT 9AM AND TORAH CLUB AT 3PM.

As you can see this an event-filled season, with special services for not only Yom Teruah (Rosh HaShana) but also a Yom Kippur Kol Nidre service on Tuesday October 8th at 7pm on the mountain, and we will break the fast together on October 9th at 6:30pm. The Break Fast and closing of Yom Kippur will be at the Larsen home, 117 S.Rogers Way Golden, 80401. This will be a pot-bless dinner, so we will be letting you know of dishes to bring. We will celebrate Erev Succoth together on the mountain on Sunday evening October 13th at 6:30pm. We are working on getting a succah to put up, so we can decorate it, worship in it and take up a Final Harvest offering for the Lord! If anybody has expertise in building a portable succah from scratch, we would love to utilize your skills!
Blessings and Shabbat Shalom!

Shabbat 9/21/19

Shabbat Shalom!

These are not ordinary times! How we live must therefore reflect an extraordinary trust in our wonderful and eternal Father and King. We are in the midst of a very spiritually active season of 40 days between Elul 1 and Yom Kippur. Traditionally, a time to ask Father to search us, reveal places we need to come into alignment, repent of attitudes and “stinkin thinkin”, and prepare for the coming High Holidays. I encourage you to set time aside during this busy time to get our priorities right with God! This Shabbat, September 21st, We will be continuing on our journey of Faith and Anointing, and transition into looking at The Realms Of Glory. What is the Glory? How do I access the Glory? What happens when the Glory falls on a place, a person, an event? We truly believe, we are being called to a higher place, come on out this Shabbat and lets lift up the Lord together! THIS WEEK, WE WILL HAVE A POT-BLESS ONEG FOLLOWING THE SERVICE, SO BRING A DISH TO SHARE AND STAY FOR FELLOWSHIP! Hebrew class at 9am and Torah Club at 3pm resume this week!

Or Chaim men are invited to participate in the 2019 Fullness Men’s Advance, sponsored by Gateway On Mt. Zion on Friday, September 27th at 10am (free time for lunch and afternoon), and a BBQ dinner and evening meeting at 6:30pm. The final session will be Saturday evening September 28th at 6pm. The retreat features Dave McDaniel, Director for the Men of Issachar, Aglow International. Dave is an engaging speaker with an enthusiasm for seeing people live in the fullness of their identity and spiritual inheritance. The cost of this retreat is only $20, and the meetings will all take place at GOMZ! See me, Pastor Stewart for more information or if you would like to register. Also, the ladies will be having their retreat from 9/26-9/28.

Next Sunday September 29th at 6:30pm we will be having our first Fall Biblical festival service as we observe Erev Yom Teruah on the mountain! This Biblical mo'ad (appointed time) is marked by the blowing of Shofarot as we enter into the “10 Days of Awe” before Yom Kippur. This is the traditional Rosh HaShana (Jewish New Year) celebration, so bring your shofar and come on out for this special and fun service! L’Shana Tova! Check out our website for the dates and times of all our High Holiday services and events!

Blessings and Shabbat Shalom!

Fall Biblical Feasts.png

Shabbat 9/14/2019

Shabbat Shalom!
Going outside this morning to take Walter on his morning excursion, it was so nice to feel the cool crisp temperature signaling that Autumn is just around the corner! I love this time of the year and it also reminds me that the Fall Biblical Feasts are coming up.  As we are in the Biblical month of Elul and asking the Holy One to reveal unwanted attitudes, behavior, ‘stinkin thinking’, so we are prepared to to receive more of His presence in our lives!

This Shabbat, September 14th, we will be transitioning from exploring the realms of Faith and Anointing to the REALM OF GLORY. A place where we experience the very character, nature and essence of who our God is. The realm of glory is a place where the flesh cannot bring us to! It’s only by the RUACH Ha KODESH.

WE WILL NOT HAVE ONEG FOLLOWING THE SERVICE DUE TO HAVDALAH AT THE WESTENDORFS’, SO THERE IS NO MEAL FOLLOWING THE SERVICE!

Join us at 5:30pm on September 14for our Havdalah evening at Tom and Mary’s farm in Watkins! This is a wonderful evening of fellowship, food, worship and closing out the Shabbat together as a family. Bring a hot dish, side, or dessert and drinks will be provided. There address is: 1029 S. Bonnie Lane, Watkins, 80137. See you there!

The High Holidays are coming up! Put these dates on your calendar:

Yom Kippur; Sunday October 8th @7pm
Yom Kippur Break Fast; Wednesday October 9th (time and place to be determined)
Erev Sukkoth, Sunday October 13th@6:30pm

Many other things are happening at Or Chaim! Please keep our Congregation in your prayer, God is moving in a big way and we want to be right in step with what God is doing!

We also have five rooms reserved at Snow Mountain Ranch at the YMCA in a joint effort of unity to gather with the Lighthouse and Shema Congregations for two nights 10/18 & 19 meals included. If interested see Millie for reservation. Millieorchaim@gmail.com

Shabbat Shalom 9/7/19 and Feasts Info

Shabbat Shalom!

We have entered the Biblical month of Elul the last month on the Hebrew calendar and a month of preparation and rending our hearts with the approach of the Fall Feast days! The sound of the shofar is heard, many Jews set aside days to fast and there is an increased expectation of the King’s arrival. The message is clear: get ready; repent; and expect not just visitation, but a manifest habitation of His very presence! The world is not getting more peaceful, the nations have not stopped their roaring against The Holy One, but as we set our minds, hearts and souls on things above, we will see kingdom things happen here on earth!

This Shabbat, September 7th, I will be sharing about something very mis-understood in the Body, THE REALMS OF ANOINTING. When we engage our faith, we allow His divine enablement (the anointing) to accomplish His purposes for our families, communities, businesses, schools, and yes, even the nations. This is an important series for our congregation, and I would encourage all to come to the service, or at least listen to the audio on our website!

WE WILL HAVE A POTLUCK ONEG AFTER THE SERVICE, SO BRING A DISH TO SHARE AND STAY FOR FELLOWSHIP!

Also, this Shabbat at the Oneg, Pastor Dwayne Burris of Gateway on Mt. Zion wants to meet with our security team and those interested in this important issue, to go over some practical matters.

Hebrew Study and Torah Club as always are being offered!

UPCOMING EVENTS: Next Saturday, September 14th we will be having our monthly HAVDALAH FELLOWSHIP EVENING at the Westendorf’s farm, 1029 S. Bonnie Lane, Watkins, 80137at 5:30pm! Bring a hot dish, a salad, or a dessert and some old shoes so you can tromp around the farm and feed the chickens, horses, and cows! These are wonderful evenings of food, fellowship, worship, and a closing out of the Shabbat, and a lot of fun! WE WILL NOT HAVE ONEG ON THAT DAY AFTER THE SERVICE.

FALL FEASTS: We will be having special services at Or Chaim to observe and celebrate the Appointed Times!

YOM TERUAH (ROSH HASHANA): SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 29TH AT 6:30PM@GOMZ; bring your shofar as we celebrate this Biblical festival, announcing the imminent arrival of the King, and the New year 5780!

YOM KIPPUR (DAY OF ATONEMENT), KOL NIDRE SERVICE: TUESDAY, OCTOBER 8TH AT 7PM@GOMZ; The Holiest day of the year as we corporately repent of our sins and recognize Yeshua as our Great High Priest, whose shed blood made it possible for us to enter into His Presence!

YOM KIPPUR BREAK FAST: WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 9TH; as we close out the Biblically mandated fast, we will gather together to break bread together! FOR THIS EVENT, WE WILL LET YOU KNOW THE TIME AND PLACE.

EREV SUKkOTH (FEAST OF BOOTHS): SUNDAY, 0CTOBER 13TH AT 6:30PM@GOMZ;  special time of rejoicing and worship in the Sukkah! Come on out and decorate and enjoy as we thank our King for an abundant harvest!

We also have five rooms reserved at Snow Mountain Ranch at the YMCA in a joint effort of unity to gather with the Lighthouse and Shema Congregations for two nights 10/18 & 19 meals included. If interested see Millie for reservation and payment.

As you can see, there are many things coming up at Or Chaim, including women’s and men’s retreats on the last weekend of September! This is an exciting time of the year, so let’s pray that it will be a sweet time of impartation, visitation, and habitation!

Blessings and Shabbat Shalom!

September Prayer Digest - Elul Fast

September 1 starts the month of Elul this year leading up to the Feasts. It’s a time we reflect and open our hearts to God as we let Him search us and as we respond back to Him in humility and obedience. We sense the Lord calling Or Chaim to a 28 day fast beginning sundown Sept 1 and ending EREV Yom Teruah. We desire each person be led by the RUACH Ha Kodesh on what and how much to fast. We have attached the September prayer digest that can be reached by opening the link.

Shabbat 8/31/2019

Shabbat Shalom!

Well, the effects of jet lag are still hanging around, but getting better. Millie and I returned from our ministry trip to Kenya last Friday and to say that it was awesome and fruitful does not even begin to describe how great a trip it was! Sharing with 130 pastors and church leaders from all over Kenya and even Tanzania was a great privilege at our first conference in Kakongo, Kenya. Teaching, breaking bread with and praying for so many people and seeing breakthroughs, healings and deliverance was simply amazing! Speaking in churches and Bible schools to folks that are hungry for more of God in Meru,  Mololongo, and Nairobi was not tiring rather on the contrary was so invigorating! We even received word today from one of the local pastors that a woman with a “growth” in her abdomen that we prayed for who was scheduled for surgery this week was told by her doctor that she doesn’t need it because something supernatural happened and the growth disappeared(her doctor’s words)! Bwana Asifiwe (Praise The Lord in Swahili)! We are expecting many such reports in the upcoming weeks. Our host said it encouraged his whole group to keep believing.

This Shabbat, August 31st, I will be continuing our study on REALMS OF GLORY and will be looking at CHARACTERISTICS OF FAITH and how crucial it is in these days that we are being elevated in our trust of The Lord as the times are getting more and more dangerous. We also are entering into the month of Elul, traditionally a season of preparation and searching our hearts in preparation for the Fall Feasts! This will be a very important message so I want to encourage all of you to be there this week! YES, WE WILL BE HAVING A POT-LUCK ONEG FOLLOWING THE SERVICE, SO BRING A DISH TO SHARE AND STAY FOR THE FELLOWSHIP. ALSO, WE HAVE HAD VISITORS WHO WOULD LIKE TO STAY AND MEET ALL OF US SO HANG AROUND FOR A BIT! I DO WANT TO ENCOURAGE THOSE WHO STAY FOR THE ONEG TO BRING A DISH SO WE DON’T RUN OUT!

We will be having Hebrew class at 9am and Torah Club at 3pm this Shabbat. We will be getting to you soon the times and dates for our special High Holiday services beginning at the end of September, and into October. Also, ladies there is still room to sign up for the joint Women’s retreat with Gateway On Mt. Zion, on the last weekend in September, and that will be a great time! On Saturday night, September 14th at 5:30pm, we will have a Havdalah fellowship evening at the Westendorf’s farm! it has been a while since we have had one and we want to encourage you to make plans to attend this evening of food, fellowship, worship and closing out the Shabbat! These evenings are pot-luck and we will be getting out more details for you in the next days! We usually cancel one on Havdalah weekends.

Blessings and Shabbat Shalom!

Shabbat 8/3/2019

Shabbat Shalom!

From the very first pages of the Bible, we see God’s plan for order, harmony, and blessing in His creation, and that the center of that was to be the family. He places us in family to be his representatives to all of creation! We have our natural families that we are born in to, and then our Spiritual family that we need to be born again into. Over the past two weeks we have experienced that blessing from both our earthly as well as our heavenly family and Millie and I, as well as entire Lewis family want to thank all of you for the care, love and compassion you have shown to us! As you can imagine, it has been hard dealing with the loss of Isaac but we will all walk through this with His grace knowing that He is good, and He is good all the time! All of you are invited to a CELEBRATION OF LIFE FOR ISAAC LEWIS, on Monday August 5th at 3pm, at CHURCH IN THE CITY/BETH ABRAHAM 1580 N.GAYLORD STREET, DENVER 80206.

This Shabbat, August 3rd at 10:30am, we will welcome Tony and Orna Sprendeo from Kfar Saba, Israel! This dynamic couple pioneered HaMaayan (“the well spring”) Messianic Congregation in1989, shortly after Tony immigrated to the Land from France. They have an incredible love for their people and a passion to share the good news to Jews and Arabs in their city, and around Israel. They also have a heart for the unborn, and have been in the forefront of the Right To Life movement in Israel, as well as serving the orphans and widows as the Scriptures command. Many of us have met them as we have travelled to the land, and we are sure you will be blessed to hear their hearts this Shabbat! We will have a pot-bless Oneg following the service, so bring a dish to share and stick around to meet Tony and Orna and enjoy the fellowship with the family!

Next weekend, August 9-11, along with Gateway On Mt.Zion, we will be hosting the ONE CONFERENCE: A MANIFESTATION OF ONE ACCORDon the Mountain, 166 S.Lookout Mt. Road, Golden 80401! PAUL WILBUR AND RON CANTOR, will minister on Friday the 9th at 6:30pm, and both will join with our Shabbat Service on the morning of the 10th at 10:30am. Paul will be ministering on Saturday evening at 6:30pm and again during the GOMZ Sunday morning service on the 11th at 10am. This will be a glorious weekend of worship, prophetic impartation and exaltation of our King from the Mountain! ALL ARE WELCOME, SO INVITE YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO THIS EVENT, BUT WE WOULD ENCOURAGE YOU TO ARRIVE EARLY TO ALL THE SERVICES IN ORDER TO GET A SEAT! WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU ALL THERE!

Blessings and Shabbat Shalom!
